One Day Safety training programme was organized for the Engineers and technicians of Cargo Gear Services (I) Pvt. Ltd. at Byculla, Mumbai on 26th June,2019. The participants were trained in Inspection Techniques for Testing & Examination of Lifting Machines, Items of Loose Gear, Pressure Vessels, Lift & Hoists etc.

To create safety awareness and to sensitize all workers / technical staff of Hydraulic Engineers department of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai, Forty (40) In House Practical Training Programs on Safety were organized by National Safety Council – Maharashtra Chapter. To accommodate all working staff, said training programs were organized at various sections located at various places namely Pise Panjarpur Complex, Bhandup Complex, Ghatkopar Yard, Kapurbawadi, Jamboli, Tansa & Vaitarna Dam. In total 1277 workers were trained so that safe work culture can be promoted in Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai.
As per request from M/s. Eicher Engineering Corporation, V. E. Commercial Vehicles Ltd.,(Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint Venture), Thane, the Chapter conducted an In-Plant Training Programme on “Mock Drill on Fire / Evacuation” and “Practical Demonstration on the Actual Mock Drill” at Thane. The program was conducted by Shri A.S.Karmarkar, Hon. Joint Secretary on Friday, the 11th March, 2016. The 30 participants attended class room training and almost all employees participated in mock-drill.
