Best Safety Practices Award Competition – 2015 organized by NSC-MC jointly with DISH from 5th-8th October 2015 at Hotel Orchid, Pune


"Best Safety Practices Award-2015” was organized on the occasion of Diamond Jubilee celebration by National Safety Council– Maharashtra Chapter in collaboration with Directorate Industrial Safety & Health, Maharashtra State for all members and non-members industrial organizations in various categories in the state of Maharashtra. The objective of the competition is “To give recognition to industrial undertakings for their Safety lead indicators and leadership and to encourage their further commitment to occupational health Safety and environment”. The participant organizations are expected to present strong mutual collaboration of management leadership and active workers participation for implementation of safety in their organization. The weightage is given to best innovative safety practices observed by the organization.


This event provides unique opportunity to all participants from 14 industrial categories to share others’ best safety practices which will help them in improving their safety standards. In this competition 120 big and medium size Industries participate directly from entire Maharashtra and nearly about 300 industrial employees from various reputed organizations witness the competition. The competition was inaugurated by Director of Industrial Safety & Health, Maharashtra State. Shri P. R. Masurkar - Hon. Secretary and Shri Shrikant Deshpande - Executive Committee Member of National Safety Council– Maharashtra Chapter, Shri Ramesh Bagi- Safety Consultant and Officers from Directorate Industrial Safety & Health, Maharashtra and 120 Representatives from various Industries within the State were present.
