1. Central Labour Institute
The National Safety Council-Maharashtra Chapter in collaboration with Central Labour Institute, Safety Division, DGFASLI, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India has been organizing for more than five decades a Training Course on Industrial Safety for the benefit of middle management personnel working with the member organizations at Mumbai.
2. Central Institute of Road Transport (CIRT), Pune
NSC-MC in collaboration with CIRT organize and conduct awareness programs, seminars, conferences on Road Safety, Road Safety Audits, CSR activities on Road Safety, Road Safety Advocacy (MoRTH – Schemes / Projects), Road Safety Competitions. To organize Road Safety trainings (CMVR 9) and Driver trainings at ‘Driver Training Centers’ at CIRT Pune.
3. MCGM Centre for Municipal Capacity Building and Research
MCGM Centre for Municipal Capacity Building and Research (MCMCR) is an initiative by the BMC and is established to facilitate capacity building in all areas of Urban Local Bodies in the State of Maharashtra. Hon. Municipal Commissioner, BMC is the designated President of the Governing Body of MCMCR.
NSC-MC & MCMCR signed an MoU for the promotion and development of collaborative research & consultancy activities, academic and capacity-building programs in the areas of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) for the benefit of Urban Local Bodies along with industries in the State of Maharashtra.
4. United Way Mumbai
United Way Mumbai is a non-profit organization working in urban and rural communities across India to identify and implement the most impactful solutions to community problems. NSC-MC is the knowledge partner for the execution of Road Safety initiatives in Mumbai, thereby providing inputs for finalizing the training module on Safe Driving.
5. Safe Kids Foundation
The joint venture of NSC-MC and Safe Kids Foundation, India plays a pivotal role in enhancing road safety awareness among schools in Maharashtra State. By organizing educational programs and activities, they equip students with crucial knowledge of traffic rules, pedestrian safety, and the importance of responsible behaviour on the roads.
These initiatives aim to educate young minds to cultivate a culture of road safety from an early age. By instilling these values early on, the program not only enhances the safety of students but also contributes to reducing road accidents and promoting a safer environment for all road users.
6. Global Road Safety Partnership
The Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP) is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1999 in response to the global recognition of road crash deaths and injuries as a human-made health crisis and hosted by the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).
NSC-MC was awarded the project titled ‘Advocacy of Road Safety in Industries’ under the Road Safety Grants Programme. The overall purpose of the project was to contribute to building road safety culture in the industrial sector of Mumbai by helping the industries to develop and implement strong road safety policies focused on road user behavioral risk factors.
7. Green Earth Translogistics Pvt Ltd
Green Earth specializes in Bulk Transportation, Road Safety, Packed Transportation and Warehousing. They facilitate the drive by virtue of educating the road users not just on the rules and regulations of the road, but also making them aware of the causes of road accidents and how one can prevent it.
NSC-MC and Green Earth jointly provide services on Road Safety such as Defensive driving techniques, Route Risk Assessment, Transport Emergency Response System, etc.
