Training on Occupational Safety for MCGM

To update the knowledge of Mumbai Municipal Corporation engineers about the implementation of ‘Factory Act 1948 (M.F.R. 1963)’ & ‘Building and Other Construction Workers Act 1996’ and to sensitize them for safe work culture, number of training sessions on ‘Occupational Safety’ are organized by National Safety Council – Maharashtra Chapter at Civic Training Institute & Research Center, Borivali (East). During the training, demos on safe confined space entry and working at height with necessary protective equipments specially installed at manhole & scaffolding at training site are organized. In addition, fire fighting demo with various types of fire extinguishers are also organized.
